How to port forward my iphone?

I currently use iPhone 4 hotspot as my internet connection(by connecting usb cable to my pc). I want to set up a few servers in my pc. But the problem is I usually get a ip as 172.20.10.x: xxxx.

So my question is:
1) is it possible to port forward my iphone?
2) If yes then how do I port forward my iPhone(tethering via usb cable)? Or if no then how can i use my iphone to setup a server for people to connect there?

Added (1). my laptop doesn't have a wi-fi so i connect to the internet in my iphone then tether it to the pc by usb using an application called (pdanet)
NOTE: jailbreak is needed for the app pdanet

A iPhone is not a router, hence it does not block any ports at all…
If tethering a laptop to the iPhone's service, nothing you need to do, it should all work "as-is"
USB is "not" a network device, you may not have the proper drivers in the iPhone or laptop to do any tethering at all. USB requires special drivers on both ends.

  • Why port forwarding on port 80? I have a foscam home security camera and it needs port forwarding on port 80 if I want to use my iphone to view it from outside. Surely enough, it works as soon as I open that port. But isn't port 80 open by default? Else how could I view http websites in the first place. I don't get it. It's already open so why open it again?
  • Who is looking forward of to purchasing the iPhone 5s? I will be purchasing my iPhone in March. If you haven't already, when will you be purchasing the iPhone 5s?
  • Clocks go forward at 1am (GMT), what happens if I set an alarm on my iPhone 4S? The clocks are going forward and I was wondering if my phone will pick up on my alarm being set at my time (7am) or if the phone won't change and it will only wake me up at 8am. Do I set my alarm TONIGHT for 6am (7am tomorrow) or just set it as 7am? Sorry if this was complicated
  • My iPhone five broke? How can I forward texts to a different device? My iPhone 5 broke about a week ago. I have insurance on it but it still costs 200$ to replace and I don't feel like I need a new one that bad to pay 200$. I would rather spend 200$ on other stuff. However, I do have an itouch which allows me to text through my email/iMessage stuff but I don't receive texts that are texted to my number on it so is there a way I can like forward all the messages I've probably been getting on my broken phone to my iPod imessage thing?
