How to stop constant Instagram notifications on iPhone Twitter app?
I just recently switched from Andoid to iPhone. For some reason Twitter notifies me seemingly every time that the Instagram twitter account posts something. It drives me crazy! How do I stop this?
See under Settings > Notification Center. Scroll to the bottom for a list of 'include'. That is a list of all apps that will notify you on the closed/lock screen. Remove what you don't want from that list and it will be fine. Best luck.
Go to the Instagram Twitter page, tap the gear icon on the left & you should see an option to Turn Off Notifications.
- Twitter SMS & Twitter App Mobile Notifications? I have and Iphone 4, currently up to date, etc etc. When I turn on mobile notifications on twitter I receive both the SMS/404-04 text notification and a push notification from my twitter mobile app. I would prefer to receive the notifications from my app only and not SMS. It would be easier to distinguish tweet from normal texts. Plus The SMS notifications leave my texts list messy. I can't figure out how to do this anywhere. Solutions?
- Twitter app keeps giving me false number of notifications on Iphone 5s? Its been happening for a few weeks now, I see other people have had this happen before but they said it was fixed a few days go, but I'm still experiencing it on my phone, when I exit out of the app, there's always a number with the red bag icon on the Twitter app, even though I checked it. - MY iphone is jailbroken and its in a constant restart/reboot.how do i fix this? It has the apple "apple" logo on screen and it won't go away, i've reset it by holding down the sleep and home button at the same time.nothing happening. I havn't upgraded to the new 6.1.3 for iphone yet, i'm downloading it through itunes now. Will that help? I have my iPhone backed up on my computer but it won't reset from back up saying an "error has occurred" it doesn't say what error, what should i do to use my iphone? Jailbroken or not
- My iPhone 4s won't stop giving me notifications for every tweet that is posted on Twitter? I don't know what I did but on my twitter account it keeps on giving me notifications for every tweet that is posted by the people I'm following at it is so annoying. Like who wants to be notified about every tweet that is posted? Every second a new tweet comes in I get notified about it. How do I stop this from happening please?!
