How to switch off data roaming on iphone 4s?

I'm trying to avoid any additional charges when i go abroad but can't see how to switch off data roaming.
I have iphone 4s. I have looked on line and it says to go to general, then network but i don't have a net work button.
In general i have;
About, software update, siri, spotlight search, text size, accessiblity, usage, background app refresh,
auto lock, restrictions, date & time, keyboard, international, itunes Wi-Fi sync, VPN, reset.

I have been into all of them and can't see data roaming button.

Can anyone help please?

Settings > Cellular > Roaming > Data Roaming and Voice Roaming (on/off)

Just tell Siri "go to data roaming" and you will see it.

  • Will turning data roaming off save me from getting big bill overseas? From the uk, I'm going to netherlands, will turning data roaming off help me? I will be using my iphone 5 for camera music and games, maybe a few texts
  • What's cellular data roaming on iPhone 4? I don't know what the data roaming is on my iPhone 4, it has 2 options 1 is voice only and the other is Data roaming what does it do? Its always been off i think

Okay so when I go to work located near the boarder occasionally I get a your now US roaming chargers messages. Does turning off data roaming remove all roaming charges like phone calls, messages, etc or just email and Internet like it says? I'd hate to be billed just because I'm too close. Just been turning off all network connections at work so far and data roaming is usually off anyway.
  • Using my O2 free mobile data in Spain - do I turn data roaming on or will this charge? It's now free to text and call and use mobile data in Europe and I'm on contract with O2 and have unlimited everything. I'm just wondering if on my iPhone I have to turn data roaming on to get this or will this charge me? How does it work? As when I turn on my mobile data without data roaming the 3G doesn't work until I actually turn on data roaming?
