You can't currently use the Wi-Fi function of the camera to transfer a video.
I'm hoping that will come in a future firmware update though. It doesn't make any sense to not have that ability.
Connect your canon camera to computer VIA usb cable, copy the video to computer first. If the video is in mp4 format, you can drag and drop the video into iTunes, sync your iPhone 5s with iTunes, the video will be transferred to your iPhone automatically. If not, you can follow this guide to convert and transfer the video to iPhone, it works fairly well for me.
