I have an iphone 5 from att. I upgraded to iphone 6 sometime after it came out. Now my iphone 5 is sitting in a drawer not being used. I travel atleast once a year to Europe and I would like to use my iphone 5 in Europe. How do I unlock my iphone 5 to use internationally? Do I have to request the unlock from att even though its an old iphone?
- Old iPhone with old sim card? Mum just got a new iPhone, so gave her old one to my sister. My sister did not have an appropriate sized sim card, so they guy at the store cut it down. Mum's new sim card is working, but when we put my sisters in the old phone, it just keeps saying no service. What do we do? Can we use it or not?
- Is a 6 year old old enough to have her own phone? I have a bunch of old iPhones (6,7,8) saved up and I'm thinking of putting her into the family plan. What do you think of a 6 year old having a smartphone?
- I've been so fustrated with trying to get my old iCloud account off my old iPhone I forgot the password and recovery key to my iCloud account. I've called Apple and sent a receipt for proof of purchase, but they said it's invalid, because the SN doesn't match which doesn't make sense. Last Christmas I got a new iPhone 5c so I put my iPhone 4 just locked up in a cabinet but my girlfriend has a crappy LG so I was going to give her my old phone but when I got it out it said disabled and won't let me do anything! Is it because I haven't used it in a while or what because I thought if you got a new phone the carrier just switched over but you could still use it like an iPod touch kind of?
