I dropped my iPhone six down the toilet?
Although everything works (apart from the finger print) I'm still weary as I have heard stores where they have dropped their phone down the toilet and it was fine but the next day it didn't work. I only dropped it a few hours ago and it was in there for another 1-2 seconds. Would appreciate any advice on how to maybe stope it not working in the near future.
The damage is done. You've kept it powered while being wet inside. It will fail soon.
If this happens to your next phone, turn it off IMMEDIATELY and put it into a container with a desiccant (dry rice, silica gel). Leave it there for a couple of days. That's all you can do, and the success rate is low.
There's absolutely no reason to hold or use an expensive electronic device over a toilet bowl - it continually amazes me how many people on this site do this. I don't get it. Go into another room.
First of all I think the first answer was very rude. It was a honest mistake don't worry it depends did you flush the toilet and it also depends if you used the toilet. If you did either of those things use a large bowl of dry rice and leave it there for 1 to 2 weeks with your phone in it. If you did not use any of those things don't worry dry it off carefully and turn it off emmediately and do the same things but leave it in there for 7 to 8 days or longer. Ps don't leave the case on in both cases
Sell it on eBay while it still works and don't mention it fell down the toilet, that way you'll be able to get at the very least 400 dollars and hereby either buy another phone or pay less for another iPhone. Cheers.

- Iphone 4S dropped down the toilet I dropped my iPhone 4s down the toilet earlier. The back camera is blurry. The phone itself is working but won't register with iTunes. I've put it in a bag of rice in the airing cupboard to dry out. Do you think this will be enough to bring it back to life?
- If you were to flush plastic down the toilet? Will it go down? Or will it float back up and choke up the pipe. The plastic is a little smaller than an iPhone 3. Like maybe 3cm smaller.
