I have been ripped off by At&T? What are my options to get of their contract?

My monthly plan is supposed to be $102, yet I've been paying $120 for the past year and a half because of what so called tax and fees. IN ADDITION to $50 EXTRA FEE.

Now, I've got five months left, but I wanna get out of it.

1 - Should I just stop paying my bills? And let them go to hell.

2- Should I jailbreak my iphone 5?

3- should I switch to Verizion?

Every carrier, including Verizon, will send you the same sort of bill with those same "fees and taxes" if you are on a contract. They may not list them the same way, but they are there.

As for the $50, there's probably a reason for that, which you aren't sharing.

Your list…
1. You can do that, but it won't stop the bills and will end up in collections for twice what you actually owe. It will also show on your credit report.
2. That makes no difference at all with your bill
3. Won't help a bit.

You could add 4, just pay off the contract.

Tough it out. Bill creep is common depending on FCC, state, and local communications taxes/fees. If you walk away now, it will hit your credit report and they will blacklist the phones so that you can't reactivate or unlock with anyone. It will become a paperweight. Once the contract is done ATT will unlock your 5. You can then take it to a similar GSM network--go prepaid and do a monthly service bill.
If you want to jailbreak, go ahead. Your phone, your choice.
Best luck.
