I need a new iPhone because my old one got wet?
I accidentally walked into my pool with my iPhone 5 in my pocket and now its sitting in a bowl of rice. If it doesn't recover I would like to know if there's a way to get another one new or used without paying extra since I'm not due for an upgrade for another year and a half. I don't have the warranty that covers water damage and I need a new iPhone 5.
You can hope that someone gives you a free one… Otherwise, without the warranty that covers water damage, you're screwed.
EBay or Craigslist would be your best bet, I bought a couple of them last week for $350. They won't be any cheaper than $350

There's no way, unless you have apple care. With apple care, you could get another phone for 50 dollars.
You're not going to just get a free phone. It's doesn't happen like that. Expect to pay SOMETHING. If you do not have apple care, you'll probably have to pay the full retail price, unless a miracle happens

- Need an advice! My iphone got wet but still works fine? I spilled my water bottle on my backpack about 2 hours. I just noticed it when I opened my backpack and I saw my iphone 4s got wet, it wasn't submerged it's just wet. So the charger is travel charger and it says charge quickly, constant voltage supply, over volt/over current protection, thermal shutdown protection.( btw its from AFIS korea) My phone really charge faster but i keep getting this message when charging "this cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably" 1st is it ok to use this charger? And if its fine then can it be harmful to use travel charger everyday?
