ICloud storage and iPhone storage?
So I had 2.5 GB of space left on my iPhone. I turned on iCloud so I could save photos then delete them but then I got more space on iCloud ($0.99 a month) and suddenly it added 1000+ photos that were on another apple device I had. But surprisingly my phone space was at 2.8 GB Which is more space than before and my iCloud storage was lower. I have photo stream on. Does this mean any new photos saved to iCloud don't take space up on my phone, just takes up space in iCloud?
Nope. Syncing photos to iCloud does no help to release space on iPhone.

- On the I cloud on the Iphone what does total storage and available storage mean? Basically it says total storage 5gb and availible storage 5 gb. Does that mean there's already 5 gb of files on the Icloud?
- IPhone storage full but iCloud storage not? I'm in the Navy and I'm going on deployment soon so, I'm racking up on stuff like movies and music so I won't be bored during deployment… I'm 3 seasons in on downloading stuff on Netflix and it says my storage is full… I deleted a lot of useless apps and music already and I downloaded a few more then it happened again… I see my iCloud storage is very empty but my phone storage is too full… How can I fix this.
- My iPhone has ran out of storage and I just deleted a lot of photos and videos and there's still no storage So I moved a whole lot of photos and videos to iCloud Drive and deleted them off the phone itself to clear space up but it still says there's no storage left. - Iphone photo storage and iCloud problem? I have around only 100+ photos in my camera roll and i just turned off the photo stream, however my photo storage is 6.2 GB. This is taking a lot of space in my iPhone 5s. It recently gave a notice that i don't have enough storage since my iCloud is only 5 GB but the photos are 6.2GB. I don't want to buy a new storage, how do i fix this? Can i not sync these back up photos to iCloud since i have already sync them to my mac? Btw i still have free 5GB of iCloud
