If I have a sprint iphone 5 can I activate it on verizon?
I have an iphone 5 that I bought from sprint. I switched to verizon and I was wondering if the sprint iphone 5 would work on verizon
In theory it would work, but in reality, Verizon does not allow customers use "non-Verizon" phones, even if they have the same model.
It sucks, but that is one of the ways that Verizon uses to wring as much money out of it's customers as possible.
- My iPhone 5 says I need a sim card to activate, and I have Verizon I was trying to restore my phone and in the process of doing that it now is asking for me to insert a sim card. I have Verizon and we don't require sim cards. What is my next step? Also, my phone has not yet been activated. This requiring of the sim card is keeping me from activating it.
