IPhone 4/4S SIM card Problem?
My dad bought me an iPhone 4S. I still have my Samsung galaxy s ii. And I just realized that my SIM card won't fit! What can i do?
Cut the sim card and leave the yellow thing cut the plastic like the white stuff
Take your sim card down to the ATT or T Mobile (what ever sim you have) store and have them cut it(they will for free)
Also if you have a T Mobile sim you will need to unlock the iPhone in order for it to work
You don't need to cut the card. Just go to a store that sells phones for your service provider and ask for a micro sim. Either ask them to activate it, or call your provider direct and organise activation over the phone (most service providers can be called using unactivated sims)
- Will I be able to transfer my contract from a regular Sim card to a Micro Sim card? I want to buy an iPhone 4S on T-mobile, but my current T-mobile sim card is a regular one that would not fit in to the iPhone 4S. Would I be able to somehow move my contract on to the new Micro Sim?
- Will cutting my sim card work to use as a micro sim card? I just ordered an iPhone 4 and I need to cut the sim card to make it a Micro sim. Will it affect it. I have seen a bunch of video and already have the template it for it. I'm using simple mobile. Do you know if anything wrong happen to it?
- Changing from normal sim card to iPhone 4 sim card? I'm an AT&T customer with a smart phone. I'm wanting to buy an iPhone 4 but I know they take smaller sim cards than normal phones. If I buy an iPhone from an individual, can I take it to AT&T and have them give me a smaller sim card & transfer my information? Would I have to pay extra for it? Is it even possible?
- Can you use an old sim card in a new iPhone after transferring the info to a new sim card? I'm borrowing an iPhone from a friend, but it requires a sim card. He transferred all his information to a new sim card in a different phone. Can I use the old sim card on a different iPhone?
