IPhone 4s delayed in message notifications?
Normally every time my phone receives a text I get a push notification and then another 2 minutes later. But recently (the last day or so, on and off) it won't notify me immediately, instead it'll send me a notification with the text but say 58 minutes ago or something, without notifying me straight away. It's really annoying! Just wondering if there's some setting I need to refresh? I've switched my phone on and off a few times but it hasn't changed anything.
My friend also says that he keeps receiving certain messages loads of times and I don't know what's happening haha.
Any advice from iPhone users would be much appreciated.
Is it happening when you are on a bad internet connection?
- Why does my ESPN Scorecenter app alerts so delayed to other people? I have an iPhone 4S and I have the ESPN Scorecenter app and I set alerts for my favorite sports and teams and my friends will get an alert then tell me about t then 10 min later I get it how do I fix it?
- Why are my texts so delayed with one person? I have an iPhone 4 with tmobile and she has an iPhone 4s with sprint. And the texts are like an hour late or I just don't get them at all. I don't know how to fix the problem we've both restarted our phones. My conversations with other people are working just fine but between me and her it's not working.
- My message notifications won't work on my new iphone 5c? I got my new iPhone 5c 2 days ago and so did my mom. When she gets a text, it shows up either on her lock screen, or on a banner at the top of whatever page she is on, and makes her text alert sound. Mine doesn't do that and makes no sound. I can only see when I have a text message by opening my messages app. I can't figure out the difference between our two iPhones.
- My iPhone stopped displaying message notifications? So I've had my iPhone 4s for two years now and suddenly I've stopped getting notifications for messages: lock screen notifications, banners, and even the red badges that show up on the app itself. I get no notifications and then I open my messages and see that I do indeed have new messages. I checked my notifications settings and they're still set to display all three forms of notifications. Is there anyway I can fix this?
