IPhone 4S verizon to straighttalk?

I have two iPhone 4S updated to most recent update both locked to Verizon. I'm wondering how much it will run me to get them both switched to straighttalk and what all I would need to do to do this? Links and details would be appreciated.

You would have to see if Verizon will unlock the phones or not. The problem here is that it is currently illegal to take a cell phone to a third party to have it unlocked (federal DMCA laws). If Verizon refused to unlock the phones, it is possible to have them unlocked elsewhere, but I can't legally give advice on how to make that work myself (nor can anyone else).

If you can get them unlocked, it is a simple matter of getting a Straight Talk SIM card and then entering in the required APN codes to use data.

  • Would an iPhone 5 work on Straighttalk? Okay, so I'm getting an iPhone 5 in a few months, and I use StraightTalk. Will an AT&T iPhone 5 work with straight talk if i order one of the AT&T compatible sim cards off the ST website? I use an AT&T compatible ST SIM card with an AT&T LG Quantum C900. Also, could I get an AT&T iPhone 5 from an AT&T store without putting it on a plan or no?
  • Why can't I use an old Verizon iPhone 5s on straighttalk? My phone recently broke so I wanna use my girlfriend s old iPhone 5s but when I check to see if its compatible straight talk says its isn't. I don't understand why?
  • Verizon iPhone 4 to StraightTalk? I currently have service with StraightTalk, but I'm trading my phone with someone who has an iPhone 4 with Verizon. Would I be able to unlock her phone to use with StraightTalk? I've been TOLD that Verizon will only allow you to unlock their phones for international use only. & I've also been told that if the Verizon phone is unlocked, I still won't be able to use it with another carrier. Can anyone clear this up for me?
  • Using the iPhone 4S on StraightTalk? If I bought the iPhone 4S and purchased a StraightTalk SIM card, would I be able to use the iPhone on StraightTalk, or would I have to unlock the phone first and then use it?
