Iphone 5 search bar messages showing up?
When you go to the search bar on your iphone 5, you'll type a few key words into it, and it will bring up old messages from someone you were talking to with that key word you typed into the search bar, my question is, are those messages YOU sent to that person, or messages that were sent from that person?
Those are messages that were in the conversation you two had together. You can stop them from showing up in your "spotlight" by going to "Settings -> General -> Spotlight Search" and uncheck Messages.
- Why are contacts showing up twice under messages on my iPhone? This morning when my boyfriend sent me a text it showed up under a second listing of his name instead of the one already in my messages. They are listed exactly the same, but one only contains messages from this morning. Why is it doing this/how do I fix it? I have an iPhone 4 running iOS6 that hasn't been updated since that came out in the fall. My email contacts aren't synced to my phone, so that can't be the cause.
- Messages sent from one iPhone showing up on another? There are 2 iPhones on one account. Just yesterday, a message was sent from one but it appeared on the other and the other received the reply. Something did come up on the original iPhone but it is not remembered what it said. It was about settings. It was working fine before. How to I put things back?
- Iphone volume bar isn't showing up Basically the title says it all. I went on youtube one morning only to find that my volume wasn't working without headphones! I turned it off but it still didn't work. It's been a while now since it has been working.
- IPhone search bar 'TOP HITS'? Whe you pull down the screen on your iPhone, search an app and it says that app is under 'TOP HITS' does it mean they personally use that app a lot or does it just mean it's generally a 'TOP HIT' on iPhone users? And what about if it's an app they deleted ages ago, but it still comes up under their top hit?
