Iphone FACETIME abroad
I live in the UK and am on Orange network, I'm currently on holiday in Florida and have Aeroplane mode on, cellular data off and am connected to free Wi-Fi.
I want to FaceTime with somebody back in the UK, and it will connect but I'm just making sure it won't cost me or my friend?
Do it
Facetime is made to use for free. It can only be used through Wi-Fi therefore you don't have to worry about being charged! Enjoy your trip!
I don, t think you have to pay any charges. Good trip!
- Why has my iphone carrier changed whilst abroad? So I'm from the UK and I'm with "3" network. I have travelled to Spain today and my iphone says orange is my carrier! Why is this? Can someone explain why I'm not getting 3?
- What to turn off on your iPhone when going abroad? I'm going away today and i need to to know what to turn off so I'm not going to charged AT ALL. Every last bit please! And also if i connect to a free Wi-Fi abroad will it charge me? And what does it mean by in notifications where it says sort apps "manually" or "by time"?
- What settings do I change on my iPhone 4S to stop data when abroad? I want to receive calls and texts but no internet at all. I don't want a massive bill for data when I return home!
- Is it possible to use a CDMA 1429 iPhone 5 abroad? Is it possible to use a CDMA 1429 iPhone 5 abroad using a GSM sim? Of course I'll have it unlocked from Sprint first. I'm just wondering if it's ever possible.
