Iphone will not connected to the Internet (cellular data) if vpn is turned off?
My iPhone 6, iOS 8 won't connect to the cellular data if I turn off vpn. I tried seething the Vpn profile, I tried restarting I even tried restoring to factory network setting nothing seems to work.
First of all lets check your settings. If you can't connect to a cellular network, make sure cellular data is set to on by going to Settings > Cellular, and making sure the slider is in the right place. Are you on a trip? If you're traveling internationally your iPhone needs to be set up for data roaming. Go to Settings > Cellular > Data Roaming, and check that you are set to on.
- Will i be charged for texts on iPhone even though i turned off cellular data and enable 3G? I have turned off my cellular data and 3G believing that everything of texts web browsing etc. Is all based on Wi-Fi. I know imessage won't charge me even though i'm on Wi-Fi. However if i were to text someone who does not have an iphone and it isn't imessage will i still be charged? Because sending messages to them works with my cellular data and 3g off but will i be charged or even charged more since it is off?
