Is a mirror or a photo more accurate?
So, I'm a little insecure about how I look. Okay, I'm Really insecure about how I look. I look fine when I walk out of the door, but I take pictures of myself and see pictures of myself and I look horrible. My nose looks 5 times bigger than it does in the mirror. Also, when I record videos using my iphone, I look just like I see myself in the mirror. I want to know which one is more accurate, because I'm in high school and this stuff can be really stressful.

I always feel like i look better in the mirror, and i think the mirrors are more accurate.

A camera is actually more accurate than a mirror. Because in mirror, the mind knows it is seeing yourself, so it cycles out the flaws. A camera can't do that. So a picture of yourself, looks more like you than a mirror of yourself.
