Is Boost Mobile a good service?

I have a T mobile phone now, my step-dad has AT&T and my mom have T mobile. My current plan is unlimited texting, and calls, no internet, on the first Google phone (G1). This phone will drop messages once a day, or every other day, and it restarts, out of nowhere, randomly. My mom wants to switch to AT&T because her Iphone with T mobile SUCKS. And to do that, since t mobile and AT&T are expensive, i'm being switched to Boost Mobile, and getting a new phone, and number. I've heard terrible reviews, and great reviews, I just want an honest opinions from somebody who has experienced multiple pone services, and knows what they're talking about.

My mother used to have a Boost Mobile phone and they always dropped her calls. Dr said that she didn't like it. The only good thing I know about Boost Mobile is that if you pay your bill on time for six consecutive months it'll go down, then six more months and it's even lower and so on… I currently have a Cricket phone and they have fairly good service for them to be a non-contact phone company. My bill is $55 for unlimited talk, text, and web plus through Muve Music you can download just about any song for free. I think you'd prefer them over Boost.
