Is getting an unlocked iPhone.safe?
My family & I have been using T-Mobile for about 7 years. I don't have a problem with their phone options, but I've always really wanted an iPhone, and obviously T-Mobile does not carry that. Is getting an unlocked iPhone safe? Are my internet / texting options going to be screwed up?
Nothing will happen if you get an unlocked iphone… Only if its a fake iphone
An unlock iPhone does not differ from any other iPhone in town, but it allows you to insert any SIM card you want. When it comes to features, functionality and other, an unlocked iPhone will always be the same before you have it modified, so it is safe to unlock your iPhone.
You could by a locked phone and then purchase an unlock, there are many providers online that will do factory unlocks depending on your country and it's laws
- Will getting my iPhone 4S unlocked by my carrier void my warranty? I'm currently on T-Mobile, but wish to switch to GiffGaff. If I ring up T-Mobile and pay the required cost to get it unlocked, will it void my warranty?
