Is other brand headphones (for example sony) compatible for iphone? - 1

IPhone headphone jack is universal - use whatever fits.

Yeah. It's just that the earpods are recommended because of the HQ music the iPhone provides. It's kind of a waste if you choose a bad branded earphones for the iPhone, because you're not getting all of the experience.

Thanks

You may get the sound but keys on the headphone may not be functional

Yes, that's about the only thing on an iphone that is compatible with other brands.

Yes, so long as it has a 3.5mm jack.

You could use whatever headphones you want on iPhones

As long as it has the proper audio input connector, yes.

  • Which Camera to Buy: Sony WX350 or Sony WX220? I'm looking to purchase a camera for my upcoming vacation. I currently use my iPhone 6 to take all my photos and want something a little better. I have done some research and it seems like Sony makes pretty good cameras. The most important factors to me are image quality and price. I'm looking to spend $220 max. Please let me know which of the two you would recommend, unless you there's something else better.
  • What iPhone photography app does a circle in pictures you take.see example? Http://www.michellephan.com/post/week-in-photos-16-michelle-phan-july-2012 In the first two photos she has circles and I'm wondering what iPhone app it is.
  • My normal headphones won't work after using Bluetooth headphones? (iPhone 7)? I've been using AirPods for a couple months now and the battery is getting pretty bad so I decided to get some plug-in Apple headphones but those don't work. When I plug them in I get a "not supported" notification. I've also tried friends headphones that worked fine on there phone, so I know it's not just faulty wires.
