Is the iphone 3G still worth buying in 2012?
My old android broke so I needed a replacement - I looked on ebay and found a refurbished iphone 3G for about £120.So I'm not sure if an iphone released in 2008 will still be very good in 2012. Opinions?
It's *** by todays standards. A lot of apps won't run very well on it. Not worth it.

Cuz i had iphone 4 and i just bought samsung galaxy tab 7inch which works as phone and tablet at the same time however if you don't want a big phone just buy galaxy s2 or s3, I know it doesn't answer your question but what i'm talking about is you can get a really good phone(fun to use) with a cheaper price if you don't want to pay for expensive phone cuz if you want a good iphone you should get iphone 4 or 4s because the app store doesn't really support the old phones~ You will still find app but not as good as the new one
HMm and i like my galaxy tab 2 more than iphone. I had problems with gettn free app and ringtoons and no bluetooth so yea, If you don't want to spend alone of money get Samsung.
Most people would answer no to this question, with the reasons that compared to newer models like the iphone4/4s or even 5, and quite a few apps won't work, the system
Is not updated like new phones, slower phone as it is older etc., but if you are not using it proffesionally (business sort of thing or full time, using it alot) then the 3G would be okay, but make sure you know (i don't know if you are bothered, but you can't shoot videos on 3G, only 3GS and up. So really its up to you and your preferences, and really usage, so good luck with whatever you choose! Also, its worth probably popping into a phone store or an apple store and seeing what's best and having a look at afew models. Hope this helps!
3GS is free now with most when you get a 2 year contract. I would go that route instead of 3G, granted the hardware isn't as good as 4S (and won't have Siri) but its still a good phone and the price is hard to beat. I've been using 3GS for a long time now and have never had an issue.
- Is the iPhone 5s still worth buying or would I wait for the iPhone 6? So I've been iPhone 4 for about a year now and I decided to have an upgrade because it's running so slow on iOS 7:c I'm wondering if the 5s is still new and up to date because the iPhone 6 is coming up and Apple usually buries their older iPhones when two years go by. - Is the iPhone 4 still worth buying? - 1 I don't have the money to buy a new iPhone, and I can get an iPhone 4 (not 4s) from someone I know for 50$. Is it worth it? I heard that with the new iOS7.1 it might not be worth it because the system is so new. Is this true? I need it to function as a phone of course, but also to play music, possibly surf the internet, and have a decent amount of apps that I know I would use a lot. Opinions? Or should I search somewhere else for a newer version at a later date?
