Is the iPhone I bought stolen?
I bought it today from a guy. The phone came in the box with the manual and everything. When I turned the phone on and tried to activate it I activated it on the guys number on accident. I can't get a hold of the guy because I'm calling the number that I just accidentally activated. He said he switched to at&t.
He was texting me from the iPhone before we met then reset it when I got there. I tried emailing him from the Craigslist email but he hasn't responded yet. Is the phone stolen?
Will the cops track me?

I bought one from a guy on craigslist who apparently comes to my school but I don't know his name and my school is pretty big. I took it home put the Meid number onto a website. It told me that it was stolen. Why should I do?
