Is the radio scanner app legal in the UK?
I seem an app for the iPhone which can pick up broadcasts of police radios, fire service radios and airport radios from across the world, is it legal to have such an app on your phone? As its on the App Store I assume it's fine?
Yes, It is perfectly legal. Even in the UK, you're offered freedom. You as well have the right to the media, therefore the radio scanner apps are completely legal. If they have The signal to play it, you're allowed to listen. Have fun.
Those things are used world wide.
Not just in the UK.
The only thing you will not know is the codes that they use on calls.
They are numbers.
Police & other services all use digital encryption these days.
- Would i have Legal issues if i named my iPhone app the same as a current product non-gaming related? Apparently, the name of my iPhone game is the same as a book written by a non-famous author, the book is about super hero's. My game is not about super hero's. Also, when i search google images, the name of my game shows up as the vehicle, Jaguar's icon. Would i have a legal issue to name my game the same as a book and a google image that shows up as Jaguar's icon?
- Iphone 5s finger scanner? In the new iphone 5s there's a finger scanner. Do we have to use the finger scanner? Can we use the normal password for our phones? I wouldn't always want to use the finger scanner. If I need one of my friends to unlock my phone they couldn't.
- Is there an alarm clock app for iPhone that launches a radio app? I like to listen to a morning radio station on the Radiopup app and need an alarm clock that can launch that app. I have Radiopup set up to automatically launch to the station but need an alarm clock to launch Radiopup. There may be times where I want to wake up to Pandora, iHeart radio, or TuneIn. Does anyone know an app that will launch another app?
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
