Not in class unless instructed to do so by the teacher. Otherwise that kid should be focused on class work.
Otherwise if the kid's parents buy him or her a phone, your or my opinion on the matter does not matter.
I have friends who's toddlers are using iPod Air tablets, and doing better than most adults I might add.
Hi No child should be using a mobile phone till they leave school.
Each kid is different.Use in school is something that should be advised by the school and decided by the parent.Whether a parent should issue a phone to a kid is up to the parent.Myself i would want my kid to have a means of emergency contact for safety reasons. And as soon as i felt they were responsible enough to properly care for and use an expensive phone i would give them one.
Why not? It's just a phone.
I depends on the situation. My granddaughter is in 5th and does not have a phone. I think she needs one since she walks home from school but her parents do not.
