My apps take up so much storage on my iphone?
I have an iphone 4 and I know a lot of people have like hundreds of songs, thousands of pictures and a lot of apps. My phone has no music, 608 pictures and 4 apps. 4 apps! That's it. It says I have no more storage to download anything else. It says my pictures take up 1.3gb of storage and I have deleted so many but it doesn't go down. Also my apps that I do have take up about 100mb of storage. Why don't I have much storage? I should have enough but I don't apparently
I would go to your carrier store and ask why because that's no normal. I have a 4 as well and have over 30 apps and 1000 pictures. I have the 16g one
The listed capacity of an iPhone isn't its true usable capacity. For example I have a 32gb iPhone 4 but can only use 28.4gb (gotta have room for software I suppose).So if you only have an 8gb capacity, you may not really have that much memory. Also do you have a lot of videos? Because they can take up a lot of space.
But my iPhone 4 did something similar once. I had to back it up to my computer then restore it so that it would show the correct available capacity. You should try that.

- On the I cloud on the Iphone what does total storage and available storage mean? Basically it says total storage 5gb and availible storage 5 gb. Does that mean there's already 5 gb of files on the Icloud?
