My iPhone 4 was stolen, will the thief be able to access my phone's content?
My iPhone 4 was stolen unfortunately. It is locked with a passcode. If the thief syncs it to iTunes, will he able to access my iPhone's content (i.e.pictures, notes, contacts). I'm really worried he'll be able to get to my information and whatever I have stored in my phone.
Unfortunately it depends on the thief. If they are stubborn enough or have the tech for it, there's always a way into a locked phone. Sorry
Assume he does just be prepared. Or he might have sold it you know lots of people these days buy stolen devices.
No. If that's the case they wouldn't bother & just try to erase the content.
In future though if you had Find My iPhone installed you could have remotely wiped the data & use that to help locate it & put it in a locked state that would make it effectively useless.
You can go to www.icloud.com and use "Find my iPhone" from here you can either see where your phone is, make it play a sound or wipe it.
This is normally automatically enabled in our iPhone's settings… You can give it a try.
