My iPhone 4s fell into the water (broken power switch)?

My iPhone 4s fell into the water (2-inches deep)yesterday but was only soaked for a seconds.

I wipe all the water and went to the car dry my phone in the air conditioner.

My iPhone 4s power switch is broken and I can't switched it off immediately after but instead I turned on my airplane mode and turned off my Wi-Fi so no calls or messages and notifications will appear. This means that my phone screen is still working after being soaked.

I left my phone in my house for 5 hours and when I went back the phone was dead.

Now, I put my iPhone 4s in a closed container with rice.

What else should I do? Should I bring to someone who can open it? Or wait for the iPhone for about a week in the container and try opening it again?

Id say its cooked friend

that you couldnt switch it off really sealed its fate one way or the other

switching off functions as you did may have helped though I doubt it

anyway

if these events were going on a day or so ago, you might as well have a go of it now

might be time to start trying to source a replacement all things considered

  • What to do if your iPhone fell in water? I tried the blow dryer approach and now I submerged my phone in a container filled with rice. Is there anything else I can try at this point?
  • What do i do, my iphone fell in water I was brushing my teeth while listening to music from my iphone and it fell in the sink and was completely submerged in water for about a few seconds but i got it out quickly. I turned it off right away and put it in a bowl of wild rice (obvously not cooked) because thats what it said online. Did i do the right thing? Does anyone have any better methods? If the rice is the right idea, how long do i leave my phone in it?
  • My iPhone fell into water I took a blow dryer to it, then I soaked it in a bag of rice. It'll turn on when it's plugged into a wall charger, but it says it needs to be connected to iTunes and be restored, so I plugged it into my laptop and it won't turn on.iTunes won't even pick up my phone to sync or ANYTHING. I need help! I left it in the bag of rice OVER 24 hours.
  • My iPhone fell in water, what should I do? Okay, so its not visibly damaged (the screen has no water on it) and it works fine so far. I turned it off and placed it in a sealed bag with rice. What should I do now? There isn't too much water in the phone. How long should I keep it in the bag? I was thinking 3 hours. Is that too short?
