My iPhone 5s will go down 2% when I check it. Why?
When I check my iPhone 5s in the morning, it'll be at 100% and then go down 2% to 98%. Why is that?
1. It can't go up.
2. If the screen turns on, power use increases.
100% reading can be deceptive. If you unplug it as soon as it says 100% it could be it's not topped off yet. If you have apps running in the background, and auto-push features set, it's probably already taxed to do functions and seeping 2% isn't that bad. So when it says 100% I'd leave it plugged up another 15-20 mins to fully charge. Best luck.
