My iPhone 6 will not connect to the Wi-Fi at home but will connect to the work wi-fi?

My iPhone 6 will not connect to the Wi-Fi at home but will connect to the work wi-fi?

Your Wi-Fi connection must be a lower or weaker connection then your phone service network so it doesn't stay connected. I'm pretty sure at work you probably get at least 100mbps. Its that or too many devices on your internet

I'm assuming you have a router or modem/router. Are you getting both the 2.4 and 5 GHz networks at home? Which one are you trying to connect to, and do you at least get to the password part of connecting? Your iPhone 6 is AC compatible (5G), so you should be able to connect to one of the networks, if your router is broadcasting them.

  • Why can't my desktop connect to our Wi-Fi at home but does connect to moble hotspot? Suddenly my desktop won't connect to our Wi-Fi. All other devices such as laptops, phones and tablets connects just fine. I tried connecting it to my iphone's hotspot and it works. I tried to unistall and reinstall the wireless adapter but still won't work. I also tried to reboot the router and even tried to change the channel but still failed to make it work. Do you have any other way to make it work? I have windows 7 on my desktop.
  • One laptop can connect to our home Wi-Fi network but no other devices can connect? We recently set up a wireless internet connection in our house. One laptop can connect to it (the one I'm currently on) but no other devices can connect to it. It says our "Network Security Key" is mismatched. I have tried typing in all the different codes on both the router and modem on both our second laptop and an iPhone 5. How can I fix this?
  • None of my devices will connect to my home wi-fi but my family's work fine? So it started when I was using my laptop at home and the wireless connection suddenly became "limited" (I use windows 8). My phone won't work either. I used "forget network" for both of my devices and started anew, but nothing, still "limited". My family's devices are just fine, it won't connect as long as the device is mine apparently… It's an iPhone the phone I'm using.
  • My iphone will not connect to my home Wi-Fi. It can connect to any other network with no problems All my other devices at home connect with no problem, but once i updated my phone it won't connect here. I've reset the router, my network settings, forgot this network, even wiped out my phone and it still won't work. I changed the dns several times. Sometimes that works for a little while, but then eventually stops. What the hell?
