With my iphone 3G and my iphone 4 it was as simple as opening it up like a USB on my computer and copying and pasting. It appears with my iphone 5 this is no longer the case. I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me a simple way of putting my photos on my computer from my iphone 5.
I've been Googling for solutions on this issue for the last hour with no luck. None of the methods and workarounds I've read will work for me.
PC - Win 7 Ultimate - iTunes 11.0.2.26 (using to sync iPhone 4S and iPad2) - .jpg format images
I just want to be able to manually add artwork to my songs and albums which I have loaded myself (not downloaded through iTunes).
Selecting full album, if I choose "get info" and either drag/drop or copy and paste a cover image in the Artwork box and click "Ok" the image is not being retained by iTunes.
Anyone know what the heck is going on and how to get it to work the way it should?

Added (1). Messing around in the metadata, I found that iTunes will not write the artwork to the mp3 file if it is checked as "read only." So if you go into the file properties of each track through Windows and uncheck the read-only attribute, then you can manually add artwork through iTunes. Previous releases of iTunes must have automatically overidden the file attributes, explaining why it worked before but not now.

My iPhone 4s was jailbroken on iOS 5.1.1 and ended up crashing one day to safe mode. I tried deleting Cydia apps to get it back to normal, and deleted this app "bigify" and Cydia went missing. Since then I'm unable to update my iPhone via ipsw file from iTunes. Shows error 3194. I tried updating it through my iPhone and it ended up in recovery mode. Now I can't bring it back to normal, and I don't know whether it has updated or not. In my iTunes it says "Your iPhone is up to date" and I tried restoring it, but again, error 3194. Can someone Please help?
Added (1). I already tried googling and YouTube-ing. Nothing helped thus far. The whole "hosts file" thing didn't work. Same with tiny umbrella, and iPhone Data Recovery/Dr.Fone.
I bought my wife an iPhone 4S and it did fine for a long time. In the last 6 months, however, it started this new thing where it refused to take videos in high quality. It takes high quality photos, but on video it looks like you took the video with an old low-quality cellphone. The quality makes 240p on Youtube look like high quality. The sound is also not especially great but isn't the main issue. What would cause this? She updated her phone to ios6 after this problem occurred and doing this update had no affect on the quality of her videos. There's another strange aspect to this problem. When I send high quality videos from my iPhone 4 to her 4S, the videos get messed up on her phone and put into this extreme low quality when played back, despite the fact that they look great on my phone and when I send them to Facebook and YouTube. Any tips on what is wrong and how we can fix it?
**I have an iphone4s**This person won't stop calling/texting me so please tell me how to block this number. I'm aware of the jailbreak app and just ignoring it but what is another option.
My phone will start acting up every now and then. Just out of the blue it will exit out of apps (not allowing me to open), same with the internet, won't receive messages, won't send out messages, sometimes won't receive calls but allows me to call, won't delete photos, dies faster, etc. I do know i have little room for data, but i can't do anything about that if my phone isn't allowing me to delete anything.
I have done all of the following,
- Bluetooth Off
- Limited Notifications
- Push Notifications off
- Location Services off
- Manuel Mail
- Brightness adjustments
- etc.
I've contacted my carrier, version, in the past and they did something over the phone that helped briefly, but over all it still likes to act up every once in awhile. I've tried killing the battery and charging it to full before operating with it, also turning it off and back on to see if it would help and still no results. If anyone knows the answer, please do tell!
I'm looking to get and iphone 5 and seen some deals on 3G which is a lot cheaper than 4g. Is there a lot of difference?
My dad changed he's number so I've deleted his old number and added his new number.
Now every time I start a new convo with him on text. I type in 'Dad' and his old number that I deleted still comes up. How do I stop it coming up?
I've reset the phone and its still there.
