Parental Control Apps for iPhone?
I have a friend whose daughter is special needs and is constantly annoying people by texting them. When they tell her they can't talk or is too busy, she ignores them and continues to do so. When my friend checks her phone to see if it's true that she's texting them, her daughter tricks her by deleting the texts so she doesn't find out. My friend has gotten a lot of complaints about this from the people her daughter has been texting. Are there any apps where you can control what hours she's allowed to have texting time or to block her from texting?
Iphones have parental control features on them you can turn on, but I've never checked to see what that all includes.
This is the child's OWN phone? Take the phone away from her. Or have the service provider disable it. Many solutions exist - this is a parenting issue, not a phone issue. You friend can easily see, even if they have been erased (so she is also LYING to her mother?) that a certain amount of texts were sent on that month's bill. I taught Special Education for many years, and all children - especially those with needs - require BOUNDARIES. If this kid can learn how to send a text - they can learn that they need to STOP IT - or no phone. Period. That's actually a more effective learning situation than just disabling texting on the kid's phone. And if this consequence leads to alternative defiant behavior - tantrums, foul language, throwing things, pouting, refusal to follow home rules - then the consequences escalate. Your friend must be the ADULT here - and also get far more informed about cell phones before you hand one to ANY child. And - does this kid also have access to a COMPUTER? Yikes.
Mspy is a reliable app for parental control over ios users:
hope that helps.

- Parental Controls for iPhone? I have an iPhone 4, and my parents said every night at 9:30 my phone will shut off. Is it true? Does my phone completely shut off? Is there any way to get it not to if it does?
- Parental control on iPod Touch / iPhone? If I'm using someone else's Wi-Fi, can they restrict what websites I visit from their computer? Even if they've never touched my iPod or iPhone? Or do they have to physically access my iPod? Also, can they check my internet history from their computer? If I delete my history can they still see it? I don't want to sound sketchy haha, I'm allowed to use their Wi-Fi but I just don't want them to see what sites I visit.
- On a iPhone are parental restrictions for the itunes account or on the actual device? If I create a new apple account and sign in will they go away because just for that account? I have a old iPhone 3GS but when got it was like 10 and now 14 and the parent controls won't let me do anything basically and my dad can't remember the passcode he set 4years ago. So just wondering how do we get around them?
