Why can't I play YouTube in the background anymore?
I've recently been having problems playing YouTube in the background of my IPhone. Every time I try to use it in the background, it automatically closes and opens up my music downloads. Is anyone having this problem?!
No more background opweration for the mobile app.

- YouTube won't play in background? IPhone 4? I have an iPhone 4 and I can't get my YouTube to play in the background like when I hit the home button it turns off or when I lock it and press play it will play from my album from iTunes. I use the YouTube app. How can I get it to work?
- Why can't i play youtube videos in background/lock screen on my iphone anymore? I always used to be able to do this, is there any way to still do it? Or is there any way to get an older version of the app that will alow me to do it? And does anyone know why they stopped this function? Very frustrating!

- Why aren't YouTube videos playing on iPhone anymore? So up until a few days ago I've been able to play any YouTube video on my iPhone 4s as long as I was in "desktop version" for YouTube. I use YouTube's desktop version on my phone because a lot of times the mobile version does not support the videos I want to play. But recently, for most videos in desktop version, I keep getting the message, "sorry this video is not available on this device". Why did this suddenly start happening and what might I do to fix it?
