Sound not working on iPhone?

First of all the mute button is not on, even when it's off the 'sound' won't increase when I try to. I went on YouTube and suddenly the volume option disappeard?

I've had this before, a simple turn off and turn on fixed it for me.

Try it on another app because it could just be YouTube. If not hold down off and home button for a full restart

It started today, if I try to watch a YouTube video without headphones and the phone is on silent, there's no audio. But if I turn the ringer on there's audio. Obviously I've looked at the volume levels, and they're up. Like i said its only started today and it's very frustrating!
  • Why is my iPhone's left speaker (for sound) not working? I had recently damaged my phone by dropping it on pavement (approximately 3 feet), and it slid about 20 feet. Just today, I noticed the the left speaker on the bottom of the phone is not working.   • What do i do if the sound for my videos on my iphone is not working? Whenever i make videos, there's no sound present. But when i record voicenotes, or listen to music the sound works, it just doesn't work for recording videos anymore. What is wrong?
