As far as I know it doesn't, you are just unlocking the phone, so you can use it on another carrier.
If you mean the password or activation locks, those won't do it either. The only people truly loyal to Apple. Are those getting paychecks and stock dividends, the rest are call CUSTOMERS.
Um, don't know what unlocking an iPhone has to do with loyalty.
