Use of an iphone in another country?
I'm going to be going on vacation to portugal and i currently live in canada. I have an iphone and i was going to take it with me to take pictures and use the internet there (connecting to their Wi-Fi).
My question is: will i get charged for taking my phone there?
Will my messages still come in?
Will i get charged even if I'm only using my phone with connecting to Wi-Fi to access social networks?
Airplane mode most of the time - then connect direct to a cafe or hotal Wi-Fi - no extra charges.
Or ask your provider for a European package.
Depends on your carrier if you'll have additional roaming charges for cellular use… Wi-Fi can't charge you extra if you have access to the network… If you can connect, you're good
