USPS Package in transit

I ordered an iPhone on eBay a few days ago and it arrived to my towns post office yesterday morning. The estimated delivery was today, but that changed yesterday and is now saying tomorrow. I don't understand, because the package is already in my zip code. Is it likely that since my package is in transit that I might get it today? I'm just wondering because I really need a phone before a business trip that was unexpected and i was told about a day after ordering my iPhone. I need it to keep in touch with family and coworkers!

That means that it's probably out on a ups truck or some delivery truck and that your address is in his route to be delivered. Probably get it sometime today.

It doesn't matter if its already in your zip code. The post office workers are people too and have certain business hours so they can go home at night and be human beings, same as you. If there's a lot of mail that day, they might not have gotten to yours yet to be put in the mail truck and to your house. If there's something going on at the office, there work could be slowed down. If other mail has higher priority, that goes out first. You may need your phone As soon as possible, but you have to at least understand.
