What amp should I get for my car?
So here's the deal. The stock tweeters are still in. I want an amp to power all the speakers, so any suggestion? I want to get a sub eventually too, so should I get a 4 channel for the speakers and a mono channel for the sub, or should I just get a 5 or 6 channel now? What other upgrades would I be able to do for the audio system in my car?
I would do a 4 channel and a separate mono subwoofer amplifier.also, i drive a 2006 aerio sx. I can tell you the factory tweeters will not last long when running a amplifier. But most aftermarket 1 inch tweeters will fit in the factory mount with very little modification.
- What is the best speaker for a car? And MP3/CD Deck for a car? Eventually when I get my main car, I want to get great speakers for my car. I know BestBuy sells most of the speakers for cars. But i'm wondering what good speakers for cars are. Not the brand but what the Best Features are for car speakers. I would also need to get a iPod/iPhone-Ready CD Deck, so I also need to know good brands and features for that.
- How to charge my iPhone in my car without an actual car charger? I'm going on a long road trip. Since the iPhone battery doesn't usually last long, i was wondering if there's another way to charge my phone without a car charger. Because my lighter doesn't work due to a broke fuse in my fuse box… Anyway- is there any alternative to keeping my phone charged?
- Is there a car jack to plug into my iPhone to listen to music in the car? So I have been wanting to listen to music through my iPhone in the car for awhile now since burning CDs is not something I specialize in. Is there a car jack for this so that I can play music over the stereo system? I have a 2004 Volvo XC90 if it helps. -Thanks!
- If I buy a new stereo for my car with a USB port can it work in any car? My stereo in my 1998 transport just died. This surprisingly excited me. I just got a new IPhone and I'm constantly installing new music. I'm wondering if I can buy a radio with a USB port and put it in my 98 transport even though my car didn't come with a USB port in the radio. Is this at all possible?
