What do you call this behavior? Refusal to accept a product you use has faults?(iPhone)?

I recently got an IPhone, my friend been trying to convince me for years. I'm quite a critic with things, or rather, objective in my reviews. I noticed that the charger lead seemed a little short, and the connecters a little temperamental/weak, and i mentioned this.
"I did notice that the charger seems a little short. If only it were a little bit longer it'd be less awkward"
He replies
"nahh not really… It's enough to charge it"
I say
"but in most situations it doesn't seem long enough if you wanted to use it at the same time"
"I do fine with it".
The next week he complains how his Iphone charger is broken. I bring up that i said it was a little weak/easy to break and he replied
" no i just need to be more careful with it"
At this point i was kind of surprised by his replies and refusal to admit any shortcomings on a product he uses.

The point of this, what do you call that behavior? It's not exactly brand loyalty, I'm sure theirs a word or something for it.

On the contrast everyone i know with an iPhone always complains about the charger not lasting them more than a year/it's o nthe short side lol… It swap those annotations around. @Sheloves dablues.

1 meter is very short for a charger, universally, 1.5m is the standard amongst electronics.

Anyways, you missed entirely the point of the question. I'm only using this example as it was the most recent time which i can remember this concept happening… I want to know what this behavior is called, weather you agree with him or not. I can't find the word for it.

  • Why do Black and Mexican men have very erratic behavior? Where I go to school black guys curse and yell at each other in hallways while classes are going on. Referring to one another as the N Word and the F word and disrespectful word for women. Also one Mexican guy in my class Always takes his iPhone out and starts playing Mexican songs out loud. Literally no one says a thing to him.
  • What's the difference from an OEM product and an original product? I need a new charger for my iPhone and I don't know if I should go buy an OEM charger from eBay or go buy an actual apple charger from Walmart that's going to be way more expensive. Since OEM is basically the same thing without retail packaging, would there be a difference in quality?
  • Is an iPhone a specialty product or a shopping product? I'm studying for a test and I need examples of a convenience product, unsought product, shopping product and specialty.
  • In the UK can you use Apple Pay in any stores which accept contactless payments? I've only just added my card to Apple Pay on my new iPhone 6S, so haven't had chance to try it out yet. But I've noticed in some shops they have signs saying they accept Apple Pay, while other shops just have signs saying they accept contactless payments (which I assume they mean cards). I was wondering if Apple Pay will work in any stores which accept contactless payments, or does the store have to specify that they accept Apple Pay for it to work?
