I went a business to get my phone fixed and in the end they just messed it up more, so I gave their FB page a bad review. However, in return, the owner threatened to call my parents (I still live with them, i'm 19) and tell them about information they found on my phone. My notifications were off and it was on sleep so there was no way he could accidentally come across anything.
What's the legal status of this? Anything?
Go to the cops. Blackmail is extorsion, and they may get fined or arrested.
Tell them you told your parents about it and they are talking to a lawyer about what has happened. They will not say a word after that, they know its bad business doing what they did. Next time just take it to an apple store to get it fixed.
