What happens to a t mobile iPhone that is lost?
I did not loose my phone. But I know they give me a new one with a fee and I was told by the company that they lock the phone. But what I want to know is can they lock it without the SIM card? And when they say lock do they mean just unable to use another carrier on it or lock the whole phone completely.
You are talking about FRAUD. You get a used phone, not new. The older not/lost one is bricked. Totally useless, can't be sold. The phone companies KNOW that there are thieves like you, out there. Shame on you.

Okay so i have my sisters iPhone, she stopped paying her bills about a year ago so it's locked, meaning i can't phone anyone, buy apps, stuff like that. But what happens if I unlock it? Will i be able to call people, use a new t mobile chip and buy apps? Bare in mind that's it a t mobile iPhone 4.
