What is more accurate in the way we look in reality?

I know in certain mirrors you can look skinnier and taller and in others you look shorter and fatter and that goes the same for a camera. But in the mirror it looks like I have really short legs and a really long torso but on a video my legs look only slightly short. Which one should I believe? (the video was filmed on an iPhone 6s )

The camera never lies. Mirrors can distort you due to imperfections in the glass, so record yourself moving around and you'll see the real you.

Today I recorded my face with the iPhone 4 camera and I looked really horrible. (X I laughed at how ugly I looked in the recording but now I'm worried. Is that how others see me or is the mirror more how other people see me?
