What is the safe emf reading?
What is the safe emf reading in miligauss(mG) in everyday normal life? I got a free iphone app which says 400-500 but when i put it close to my computer it reaches around 2100 and put it close to my monitor it reaches 600 O_o
EMF being the electromotive force and Gauss being a unit of magnetic field strength, i'd say that app you have is talking rubbish.
There are no guidelines when it comes to what is "safe" for magnetic fields which is what your app reads. The earth itself naturally produces its own agnetic field; this is why compasses works. MRI machines use magnets so powerful they can pull a metallic hip replacement straight out of a body but otherwise exposure to the magnet itself has no harmful effects. There are some experimental super-agnets so strong that they are a definite health hazard but no one is ever likely to come in to any kind of proximity to such super-magnets as they are kept carefully shielded when in use. But everyday magnetic fields are not a health hazard; electrical fields on the other hand could possibly be the cause of the rise in cancer these days.
I believe the numbers you have are high… Most cell phones would give off high readings anyways… 0-1 is a good flat safe reading… Many of your appliances will differ, and your electrical for a norm should read a 1… Or a bit higher won't hurt… Some of your electrical can give off very high readings if not installed or grounded correctly.
How many miligauss is safe? Mobiles seem to flicker on the gauge. Also wot is the best device to measure these readings?
I have an app on my Samsung S3 it measures 30-100uT continuously. I have checked all over my town and it is the same.
- Which is worse reading and not replying or not even reading it? On fb or iPhone or whatever which would you consider worse, reading something, and the person seeing you've read it, and not replying or just not reading it at all and I obviously not replying. In both cases not replying at all.
- Should I Continue Reading The Batman: Court of Owls Story Arc? I'm new to the batman comics and have started using the DC Comics iPhone app and have bought three issues of this Batman arc. I kind of like it but wanted to know if there's a better Batman arc to read that is on the app that includes a more widely known character and Batmans problems with character over a fairly large span (The Joker, Bane, Ra's Al Ghul, Scarecrow, Two Face, Mr. Freeze… )
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
