- Where is the best place to buy an iPhone 4s: the Verizon store or the Apple store? I don't have an upgrade until January but am looking to buy an iPhone soon. I've been looking at the various sites and saw that there was a huge price difference between the Apple and Verizon stores. A rep at the Verizon store told me I wouldn't even have to change my existing plan, but just pay the $449 for the phone. Why would I buy an iPhone 4s from Verizon for $449.99 when they're sold on the Apple website for $99?

I want to be able to develop mobile apps for android and iPhones and I want to be able to code and run programs in java, python and c, I also want to be able to use it for Web development. I was thinking of a Microsoft surface Pro 5 with an i7 processor, what would you recommend and what shops online or offline do you find have the best value.
