Why am i so spoiled, what should i do?

I know its not my fault, but i really wish i wasn't so spoiled and ungrateful. I got an iphone 4 for christmas last year, and it started having problems. My parents offered to buy me an iphone 5 for this christmas but i refused, because i really don't want any new iphone. So my mom got me another iphone 4, but my dad used it for a couple months, and i just feel like crying because its not brand new. I'm trying to stop but i can't, the feeling won't go away. I hate being this way.

It is good that you are able to reflect on this issue. You probably should speak to your parents about this. Change comes from within, so you are the only person who can affect the change within. Remember that there are others who are worse off then you. Things could be worse. Be grateful for what you have; don't be ungrateful for what you do not have.

Well you could volunteer at a homeless shelter and see how people who have nothing habe to live especially the ones who have kids and the poor kids have to live in a shelter because their parents can't find work then think about how you can't stop crying over a perfectly fine iphone because it didn't come out of a plastic package… Or at a soup kitchen that parents and their children have to go to because they can't afford food… Seriously tho… Just get over it its not like your wearing someone's hand me down shoes…
