Why do I seem to only like old music?
I listen to older songs and I become happy and it's like I snap out of my bad mood but when I listen to modern music, it just pushes my button even more… Why! Literally I'm 14 and my iPhone 5's music library, well Rdio, is full of 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's Rock. Like I said, I'm 14 and I only like old. I have bands like The Beatles, Steve Miller Band, Boston, Led Zeppelin, Elvis Presley, Bill Haley, Little Richard, and loads of others. Any other teens out there interested in older songs? I know there are underground bands these days like Coldplay and what not but it still disgusts me. I don't want to sound mean but please only teens opinions simply because I want to see what others around my age want to say about what I'm talking about.
Probably because you're a decent guy and don't want to listen to "a*s, ***, let's get high, i'm so f*ing cool" because its disgusting and all you hear in songs anymore. I agree with you, the oldies are better, it's real music.
Because you know what real music is. There's no decent music anymore.
Your song choice is influenced by the music you listened to when you were younger, say your mom or dad listened to oldies music when you were little, so you take a liking to it. I'm 14 and I like oldies like 40s and 50s, but I also like rock ( AC/DC ) and all different kinda of music. Beatles, Gorillaz, The Killers, Macklemore, Panic! At the Disco, Paramore etc.
I appreciate your taste in music but saying no good music is made anymore is an untrue statement. And Coldplay is more of a pop band than an undeground band lol. Judging by the bands you named some newer stuff you might like: Wolfmother, Arctic Monkeys/ Last Shadow puppets, System of a Down, The White Stripes/ Jack White, Eagles of Death Metal, Foo Fighters, The Hives, Interpol etc. All of them still performing/ putting out albums. Of course radios play *** most of times, but whatever that's what internet and cds are for. Another thing, what you named were all different times and decades of music and music has evolved in many ways since then. If everything always sounded the same, it would be very lame. So you might wanna try and open to other and different types of music too, there's really good electronic stuff for example. Just dig around and avoid mainstream radio station and todays music won't look that bad after all.
They help you remember the past.
"I know there are underground bands these days like Coldplay and what not but it still disgusts me"
"I know there are underground bands these days like Coldplay"
"underground bands these days like Coldplay"
"underground bands like Coldplay"…
LOL…
You're not the only one. I also listen to various 80's Rock and Metal (excluding Glam/Hair "Metal" because it sucks).
- Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
- Why is my iphone over capacity? I only have like 9 apps and not even 100songs on it? I'm trying to add pictures to it but its saying its over capacity and its also going really slow, i've token out half of my apps and deleted most of my pictures too but nothing helps
- Why does the uk seem governed by globalism and corporations now? Britain has changed so much. Mass immigration which has transformed the country greatly… And so many american programs and adverts on television now… Everyone has an apple iphone and is glued to it… Big corporations are everywhere… Parts of the nhs being privatized. is anyone depressed by any of this? Britain has changed beyond all recognition.
- Why does my old iPhone 4's screen look like this? Its been stuck like this for an hour its weird never seen nothing like this what's wrong with it?
