Why does my Iphone 5s hurt after I hold it?

I recently upgraded my phone from a Samsung S3 to an Iphone 5s (a week ago) and I have noticed I have been getting pain in my hand and up my arm.

After just holding my phone for a few seconds to view a message I get the pain and it lasts for a good 10 minutes afterwards. So I assume the pain is coming from the phone as it happens each time I use it?

I would describe it as a painful tingling sensation in my hand and goes to my fingers and my inner middle arm.

I'm just wondering has anyone else experienced this pain from the Iphone 5s?
Does anyone know what it could be?

Thanks.

Added (1). P.s I never had this pain from the Samsung S3, I only have been getting it since I upgraded and the pain is getting worse

Stick with Android my friend, it won't bring you discomfort. Why does my Iphone 5s hurt after I hold it

I rarely use my iPhone 5 and my hands ache when I hold it. I also get the same sensation in my legs with my MacBook on my lap.

  • Why does my iPhone 5C 16GB hold so few songs? I recently bought an iPhone 16GB 5C under the impression it could hold around 2500 songs (this is about how much people said) however I have about 5 apps, no photos and only 700 songs, and it's virtually full. Is there anything I can do about this? (I can't return it as I bought it too long ago).
  • Why does my head hurt when I study? Whenever I start studying I feel this weird pain in my head. I browsed some others similar questions and they said that it might have something to do with eyesight but I don't wear glasses and I can see perfectly. I can even spend the entire day on my iphone or computer feeling ok. Please help me I can barely study for my finals and I'm afraid that I might fail.
  • Why does it hurt when you put sharpie on your skin & then take a picture with flash on the iPhone? Okay, so there's this thing at my school where you do this: 1. Draw a black sharpie square on your hand 2. Take off your phone case 3. Put your phone camera directly on the skin where your sharpie mark is 4. Turn on the flash on your phone and then take a picture. It hurts and stings a little bit. It's like a small shock. Why is that?
  • Why does charging an iPhone over night hurt it, and how can I help it? Okay. Does my battery die quickly because I charge it over night? And does it kinda mess it up? I've heard it does that. If so, then how and when do I charge my iPhone? How can I make it so my battery life lasts longer?
