Why does USPS mess with my package?

I've had bad experience with USPS. Once I had ordered an iPhone from Amazon. I was home the day of the estimated delivery day and USPS claimed they knocked at my door and left a yellow slip but there was nothing so I waited the next day. Nothing. I went to my 2 local post offices and they claimed it was still in the truck. It was a big mess. I would even wait outside for the truck but it never came. The postal guy claimed he knocked at my door and left a slip when in reality he didn't. He sent the package back and it ended up being lost. It took my a month to get it. My mom had ordered some check books online and they sent it threw USPS. The guy didn't even leave it in the mail box or knock at the door. He sent it back? I'm expecting a important package on Monday and I DO NOT want the same thing to happen again. What can I do? Complaining to the postal office doesn't work!

I've only had problems with ups, USPS & Fedex are the only ones I use now.

  • Will I get my USPS Package today? Ok, so I ordered a iPhone on Black Friday from Amazon, the guy kept saying he was gunna ship it and finally did on the 3. I never heard of any more tracking so I called three days ago and the lady said it was still in Florida and they were gunna do priority 2 day mail. So this morning at 3 am it was in Sacrament, then at 5 it was at the post office the next town over (2 min. Drive) I have a po box at my local post office, do you think I'll get it today?
  • What Does it mean when it says depart USPS sort facility? My iphone had to be ordered and I have been tracking it. And it gave me " Depart USPS Sort facility" Dow that mean I Should be getting it today or No?
  • USPS lost my package from eBay and the seller refunded me, should I still file a missing package claim? I had ordered the iPhone 7 for my birthday last week and I never received my package. I went through a whole ordeal with USPS (who was no help at all). Eventually the eBay seller was happy to issue me a full refund but I'm wondering if it's worth my time to file a missing package claim.
  • Sent a package with USPS without persons name or return address So I bassicly ****** this one up I sold an iPhone and I shipped it priority 2 day small box the persons address was on it however I failed to put a name or my address incase it needs returned I only have 50$ insurance on it and shipping confirmation do you think it will be okay?
