Why won't my iphone 5 connect to my computer?
I tried to sync it but nothing would come up. I tried both my desktop and laptop and got nothing.
When I use my wall charger it works perfectly.
Also when I sync my ipod to either of my computers it works and syncs perfectly. What is going on with my iphone?

My cable used to work but one day it just stopped connecting to the computer

Because you have to get a charger that says "syncs" If it says syncs on the box then get t because that will make your phone sync to your computer. & What kind of iPod are we talking about? IPod shuffle, IPod generations like you have to be specific for a good answer.
Two things:
- Try to have your phone unlocked when you attempt to sync. Does that help? Sometimes having it locked prevents a sync on certain computers. You don't need to unlock an iPod, so this could be the case.
- Are you trying to sync with an old Apple cable? It's possible it's busted. If you have a spare (like one used in combination with a laptop charger) you could test this with a different one, without having to buy a complete new charger yet.
- Why won't my xbox 360 connect to the internet but will connect to my iphone hotspot? Ill play cod bo2 almost daily and my xbox will connect to my mobile hotspot on my iphone 4s fine, but out of no where it will lag out and disconnect me from xbox live, its not a hardware issue everything connects normally, full bars and everything the phone still lets me get on the internet, but my xbox will not, why D:?
- Why won't my iphone show up on my computer when i connect it? I connect my iphone to my windows laptop with a cabel thingy and it shows up that its charging on my iphone but it doesn't give me any options to transfer media etc. Also when i go on 'computer' it doesn't show up even though it should because its connected?
- Why won't my iphone connect to my itunes on the computer? Okay so my iphone is telling me to connect to itunes. I tried to do it on my computer but it wouldn't work now my computer isn't working so I'm using my moms laptop which has itunes on it and it won't connect to her itunes. Why? Whenever my friends came over and plugged their phone into my computer it would always connect to itunes. But mine won't to my moms, i need help Please! - Why won't My sprint iPhone 4 won't connect to 3G? Before you say call them I already have ok. Today I had an upgrade but my aunt used it for her phone since I'm on her plan. It went good but then won't connect to 3G after that we called and they said something went wrong but nothing did so I'm wondering is there anything i could possibly do to fix it or should I call the place that did it? Or should I just call sprint or apple? Please help I have to use my phone a lot in places that don't have Wi-Fi.
