2010 Acura RDX Bluetooth Audio?

I own a 2010 Acura RDX and can't stream my audio through my phone. I have tested with several (older and newer) Android phones and an iPhone. Nothing works. When I click on the "CD/AUX" button on my radio it toggles between USB, AUX, CD, then back to USB. It never goes to Bluetooth.

I have been told (and have read) that thr 2010 model does, indeed, stream audio through bluetooth but I can't get it to work.

Calls through bluetooth work NO PROBLEM at all. Just no audio.

Normally Unless your car came equipped with the iPod link, which is a plug in usually in the center console you are out of luck using factory OEM radio.

However upon further research you are right… Try this link.

You have to have a specific audio profile on your phone to, work… This link to FAQ will let you find out if you can even do it.

  • Kenwood X996 Bluetooth Audio Issue? Installed a kenwood x996 in my truck. After install I got the bluetooth audio to work. Directly out of the box it only works through the front speakers. Not the rear or subs. I did get it to work by changing I think to zone 1 but I don't remember. My battery died and reset the head unit and now i can't get it to work. I have an iPhone 4 if that helps anyone.

  • How to use iSimple in my Acura TSX? I recently bought a used 2005 Acura TSX. It came with an Ipod cord that says iSimple on it and when I plug my iPhone in nothing happens. I can't tell if the cord is actually connected to anything because I would have to take apart my car. However there's a switch next to where the cord comes out and if I turn it on and off the radio becomes static. Any suggestions before I have to take it somewhere to get it looked at? I would really like to listen to my music in my car!
