IPhone Music app doesnot work with car audio bluetooth system but Google Map works?

I have iPhone 3GS which have google map app, it works fine with car audio bluetooth system. I could here turn by turn direction in car speaker. But why music app does not work the same way?

Any clue.

Added (1). My Car is 2009 Camry LE which have A2DP support

The head unit has to be A2DP capable in order for music to work.

  • What iPhone map app can work offline? I'm going on vacation abroad, and I'm gonna need maps loaded on my iPhone 4. Having known that the native Maps app on iPhone doesn't load maps without Wi-Fi or without cellular data (which is expensive abroad), I need an app that can have maps loaded. I know Maps can have the whole route loaded but not zoomed in, but when it comes to cities, it is necessary to have a map that loads when you zoom in, to see intersections and such.
  • Older Pioneer car audio system? I got an older car and it has a Pioneer MOSFET 50wx4, Is there anyway of playing music from an iPhone or iPod through it? There's no slot for a USB or AUX cord that I can see
  • Music won't play in my car but Bluetooth is connected to my iPhone? I recently bought a 2007 Infiniti m35 x AWD & I connected Bluetooth to my iPhone and it says connected and I still get calls and it shows up on the screen but when I want to play music it still plays from my phone instead of the car's stereos
  • I dropped my iPhone 3GS audio port down into coffee and my audio does not work When I try to turn up my volume it says headphones but my headphones still work. I Tried it on speaker phone it still works how can I get my audio working agen!
